Desert Rose Golden Retrievers

We are located in Littlerock, CA., which is in the Mojave Desert, in Southern California. We are a small, family run breeder. Our puppies are raised in the house with us. They are socialized with our cats, older dogs and grandchildren from the day they are born. All of our parents have OFA's from a cardiologist, CERF from an eye specialist and OFA's for their hips, or preliminaries (under 2 years old). We are proud of our clean facilities and our beautiful pups- so we welcome visitors anytime.

We receive many cards, letters and pictures from our new puppy owners. Communication for the life of the dog is important to us. This helps us keep track of any health problems that can come up. We love to see our babies grow into a loving, and loved, member of your family. Photos, notes and updates are always appreciated and encouraged.

It all started 23 years ago, when I wanted a puppy for my five daughters. The Golden Retriever was the only logical choice to be around the children. Now I have 14 grandchildren and I am still happy with the choice I made back then. We are breeding beautiful, mellow, healthy pets for your family to cherish like we do! This is Charm. He is our main stud boy! His name really fits too- he is a Charmer. He has the best personality, a true golden attitude! Charms mother was very light so he throws some nice light golden pups! And his beautiful, big head can be found on most of them too! Charm is best seen in person! Come and visit. Charm has his hip, eye and heart clearances.

Spirit is our younger stud. He has had several litters and they have been really nice. He has a great mellow personality and a gorgeous head. Spirit loves everybody and you are welcome to come and see him anytime! Spirit has his hip, eye and heart clearances.

Our pups are used quite often for ads and TV. The picture on the top of this page is from an ad for cosmetics that ran in McCalls and featured our pup with Julie Warner from Family Law. The picture right above was taken with Melissa Joan Hart when our pups were used in an episode of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch". Sav-On Photo Developing and Home Depot used our pups for their commercials. The first Bethoven Movie and an episode of "Late Night with Zach" also had some of our pups. It's fun to have our pups appear in things like this and it's great socialization. Whenever we send them out for their "jobs", most of them don't return! They go to homes with the people who fell in love with them on the site.

Megan is one of my granddaughters and she is playing with Misty, who is named after one of my other granddaughters. Misty is one of Charms pups from Wild Desert Rose. She is a typical Charm puppy. Light golden, gorgeous head, dark pigment- no pink noses here!- and unreal temperment. And what is better for a golden pup than playing with the kids?

Please e-mail or call us regarding our next available litter! We take deposits to hold a pup, which is highly recommended! They are wormed and given first vaccinations before going home. This is some of the pups from our last litter with my grand daughter Katie Mae. Come and get yours!
